The core mission of the HR Analyst is to collect, compile, and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics and apply this data to make recommendations related to recruitment, retention, and legal compliance.

About the Role:

The world of eCommerce is moving at lightning speed, and for Red Stag to keep up with this rapid pace of change, we need to add an enthusiastic self-starter and self-performer with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to the Herd as an HR Analyst. 

The HR Analyst will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with both the financial and HR teams to assist in analysis and reporting to drive strategic business decisions related to the company’s future growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in the world of HR analytics and will be able to demonstrate the proven ability to lead high-visibility projects across multiple sites and departments.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:


Help recruiters by providing relevant data, statistics, trends, and patterns to make the recruiting process more effective and efficient in sourcing great candidates. (Pipeline Analysis) 
Assist in the implementation of new employee development, recruiting, training, and other initiatives. 
Provide analysis that provides insight into effectiveness of talent acquisition functions and informs improvement decisions. 

Compile, analyze and report on relevant HR data and metrics from multiple sources and outputs. 
Assess current employee benefits, compensation packages, and policies.
Continually analyze competitor practices to make appropriate recommendations to upper management. 

Analyze labor relations and employee relations within the organization. 
Collaborate with the HR business partners to provide insights that would help drive improvements. 
Review internal data and analyze retention rates and the decision-making processes to make internal processes more efficient. 
Analyze & Advise: 

Develop templates for reports to make it easier to present findings to senior leadership and department heads. 
Compiles, analyzes and reports current data as well as employment trends to assist with annual benefit planning and benchmarking 
Responsible for data necessary to complete government compliance activities (5500s, audits, etc.), employee mailings, coordinating data collection and updating numerous reports for management.
Assures processes and procedures are in place to capture and maintain consistent and accurate people data.
Perform data audits. 
Assists in the development and improvement of HR and business processes.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics or related degree 
Minimum 2 years of work experience in HR Analytics  
Experience applying data analytics and KPI measurements to drive process improvement 
Deep knowledge and understanding of HR Analytics 
Advanced Excel skills 
Knowledge of data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Sisense, etc.) 
Desired Characteristics:

Self-starter that is comfortable starting an initiative from scratch and self-performing much of the work. 
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
Excellent verbal and written communication. 
Demonstrated knowledge of employee benefit programs, including ERISA. 
Proven ability to lead high visibility projects across multiple sites and departments.
Proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders. 
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. 
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively.
Travel Requirement:

Travel up to 10% to various company locations.
Remote Work:

Local candidate preferred, but open to remote as long as they are willing to come to Knoxville from time to time. Depending on the needs of the business and discussions with direct supervisor, this position may work 1-2 days remotely per week.
Salary Range is $75,000-$90,000
